Film Classification
My own film would be rated a 12. I believe 12 is the correct rating for my film(and the one that would be given to it) due to its content. My film will contain no scenes of sex as well as no references at all. Frequent sexual references/crude jokes are often the reason films are pushed over the edge to a 15 so my film is not threatened by that fact. My film however will contain occasional strong language throughout. The swearing will not be aggressive as well as not that frequent. This leads me to believe that it will past under the 12 category with no problem in relation to swearing is it will be infrequent and sparse. My film will also contain no drug use or discrimination of any type or references to either, meaning it is not threatened by these categorys. Finally, my film will contain brief violence and scenes of blood. However, there will only be a very small amount of violence and blood, with the violence not even being shown on camera, only implied. The blood use will also be very tame and will only shown once at the end of the film. Altogether, I believe my film is definitely suitable for children aged 12 and over and that this is the rating it would get.
