Questionnaire Q1+2 Data and Analysis

This first question shows me that the majority of my responses agree that found footage films are effective in scaring their audience. Due to this information, despite their low budget and independent methods, there is a market for found footage films as they are thought to be scary and effective at raising fear in an audience. This lets me know that there is a market for my own found footage film and a genuine interest for the genre. There is two responses that believe found footage are not effective in being scary. This is a small amount but still something to keep in mind, I could potentially research more into the reasons why some audiences do not find found footage effective.

The responses to the second question have quite a big difference between the responses. 6 of the 7 responses agree with the statement that blood, guts and gore are not needed and that a good plan and thorough research are just as important. This is important for my film as while there will be some gore, it is more based around tension and therefore relies on a strong plot and strong  performances.
